JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Sally: yes but they were highly in use
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Sally: we made collect calls to gtl so the charges went
through a billing program with our families
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Sally: no the hail had a billing system in place and
families would call and activiate it so we could
easily make our collect calls
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Sally: yes
